Fabrication and Characterization of Controlled Disorder in the Core of the Optical Fibers

Abstract

Experimental and theoretical study of light transmission through optical fiber with controlled disorder is presented. The technique provides an easy way to fabricate different disorder configurations and is suitable for random fiber lasers applications.
