Analysis of Clamped Circular Cylindrical Shell Panels

Abstract

A rigorous analysis of a circular cylindrical shell panel clamped along all the four edges is presented using a multiple fourier series approach. A numberical example is solved to illustrate the application of the method. The results obtained by this method are also compared with the results obtained by D. N. Allen using finite difference technique.
