Application of Sokolov's Method to Problems of Radiative Transfer
Sokolov's method of averaging functional corrections has been applied to a singular linear Fredholm integral equation which arises in the theory of radiative transfer. When compared to the method of successive approximations, Sokolov's method was found to be superior. In many cases the first approximation may be within the desired accuracy. © 1968.
