The Conormal Type Function for CR Manifolds
Abstract
We introduce the total type function, and its microlocalization, the conormal type function, for a CR namifold M. These functions generalize important aspects of the Levi form, as well as higher Levi forms. We show how these type functions have direct applications to important questions about CR manifolds.
