Damage detection in structural systems using 3-D wavelet transforms

Abstract

"Application of the 3-D wavelet transforms on the measured ultrasonic data has been a novel application for the damage detection analysis of the two dimensional structural systems...The proposed three-dimensional wavelet technique for damage detection in structural systems utilizes measured 3-D ultrasonic data obtained from the damaged structural systems...It is shown that the proposed method can clearly locate single as well as multiple damaged locations in the structural systems."--Abstract, page iii.
