Abstract

Many experiments of cohesive and noncohesive soils were performed at the special dynamic laboratory Stavebni geologie Prague. The dynamic properties of these roils depend on their internal structure. The cracks of buildings may be observed in earthquake regions if they are constructed on soils that have undergone liquefaction. The special geotechnical investigation may identity these soils.
