Application of the Method of Elastic Maps in Analysis of Genetic Texts

Abstract

A study was performed on application of the method of elastic maps in analysis of genetic texts. The method of elastic maps allowed to construct efficiently 1D, 2D and 3D nonlinear approximations to the principal manifolds with different topology and to project data onto it. The idea of the method was described.
