Abstract

"This dissertation is a collection of papers that addresses several important problems related to multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communications. Specifically, training on MIMO channels is examined. A training scheme for a continuously varying MIMO channel is proposed and optimal training parameters for the scheme are determined"--Abstract, page iii.
