Simulation of soil-pile-superstructure interaction in the New Madrid Seismic Zone

Author

Keywords and Phrases

Cyclic soil model; Site response analysis

Abstract

"In this work, a nonliner cyclic soil model considering the effect of the confining pressure and liquefaction to site response analysis was presented and comprehensive numerical methods of pile-soil-superstructure interaction (SPSI) were conducted generally for deep soil deposits, but mainly focused on the New Madrid Seismic Zone (NMSZ)."--Conclusions, page 158.
