Noble Gases from the Peace River LaLande and Achilles Meteorites

Abstract

The noble gas contents and isotopic abundances were measured for samples of the Peace River, LaLande and Achilles chondrites. The noble gases determined from a single Peace River chondrule were enriched in radiogenic Xe¹²⁹ and Ar⁴⁰. The cosmic ray exposure ages and the potassium-argon gas retention ages are calculated.
