Master's Students:

Once your thesis has passed final format checking by the graduate office, you will need to fill out the cataloging form .

Before submitting your thesis, please research and be aware of the following before starting the submission process:

1. Have the final version of your thesis available in PDF format on the computer or data stick/jump drive that you are using to fill out the web forms.  You should also attach all accompanying files, such as map images. Files will only be accepted in the following formats:

• PDF (.pdf)
• Plain Text (.txt)
• Rich Text Format (.rtf)
• HTML (.html)
• JPEG (.jpeg/.jpg)
• TIFF (.tiff/.tif)
• AIFF (.aiff/.aif/.aifc)
• WAV (.wav)
• MPEG (.mpeg/.mpg)
• PS (.ps)
• XML (.xml

      If you cannot change your files to one of these formats, you can email rrinbox@mst.edu  and attach the varying formats.

2. Think of 3-10 key terms you would use to describe your work (ex. "geographical information systems", "nanotechnology", etc)

3.  Are there any parts of your thesis that will need to be redacted, such as copyrighted images or graphs? If so, please let us know this when you fill out the form.

PhD Students:

1. You will need to fill out the UMI Proquest form. This is required of all students submitting a dissertation. Directions for filling out the form are here.
