Any changes or exceptions in the below
general guidelines must be approved by Scholars' Mine Staff.
General Guidelines:
- Scholars' Mine is a repository for
scholarly literature, communication, and research results for the Missouri
University of Science and Technology faculty, researchers, staff, and
students. Materials submitted should be of a scholarly nature or be in support
of the scholarly mission of the University.
- Materials submitted should be the
intellectual property of a Missouri S&T author, department, or the
University. With any item under third party copyright (such as a publisher)
said publisher must allow self-archiving. If the copyright holder does not
allow this, we cannot put up full text of the work.
- Materials should be submitted to Scholars'
Mine either by one of the authors listed on the material, or by an appointed
agent of one of the authors. Most materials will be processed by
Scholars' Mine staff except for student theses and dissertations.
- There is no formal limit to the size of
items submitted to and stored in Scholars' Mine. However, for items
larger than 20 MB, please consult with Scholars' Mine staff to ensure proper
uploading
- The
Advisory Committee reserves the right to change these guidelines, to make
formal policies, or to terminate the project.
- Scholars' Mine staff and the Advisory
Committee reserve the right to remove items from the Scholars' Mine if notified
by a third party of potential copyright infringement. In such cases, authors
and communities will be notified.
